About C5 Kebabs

G’day! We’re the Chapman family — Paul and Larissa, together with our three boys Indigo, Zander and Tully. We’re the proud owners of C5 Kebabs right here in the heart of Gosford on the Central Coast of NSW.

The name C5 stands for the five of us — our tight little family that does everything together.

It all began when our middle son Zander was in his final years of high school. He did a bunch of work placements and suddenly saw what running a real business looked like — the early starts, the busy days, and the huge buzz you get when customers walk out happy.

At the same time, anyone who knows our family knows we’re completely obsessed with Middle Eastern food. We’re the ones who’ll happily drive for hours just to chase the perfect kebab, proper garlic sauce, fresh tabouli, Lebanese pickles, pickled turnips, creamy hummus and warm Lebanese bread straight from the oven. 

Those flavours have always been part of our family table.

So when a small shop became available in the last few weeks of Zander’s year 12 at school, we looked at each other and said, “Why not us?” As a family we grabbed the chance with both hands and turned that little spot into C5 Kebabs — a place serving the exact food we all love.

Today you’ll find our three boys running the shop every single day, cooking with big smiles and making sure every order is spot on. Mum and Dad jump in whenever we can because this is truly a family business.

We’re learning heaps every day about running a food business (it’s not always smooth sailing!), but one thing has never changed — our mission. We want to bring seriously tasty food at prices that won’t break the bank to as many people as possible.

Because at C5 Kebabs we only make food that we genuinely love — the kind we’d happily eat ourselves every single day.
